Which foam pit cube is right for your park?
The site range includes PU Skin Cubes, Waterbased Cubes and Standard Cubes. Each option gives an operator a different replacement and planning choice. PU Skin Cubes are estimated to last at least four years; the calculator conservatively uses four years. Waterbased Cubes are planned for 12 months, while Standard Cubes are replenished about every 8 months. Use those figures as planning assumptions when comparing the options for your venue.
The recommended starting mix on the site is 40% PU Skin Cubes and 60% Waterbased Cubes. The full-pit planner on this page lets you estimate the total quantity, and the product configurator lets you add the cube type and colour mix you want to request. You can add more than one cube line to the same order draft if you want to describe a mixed order.
How many foam pit cubes do I need?
Calculate the inside volume in cubic metres by multiplying length by width by fill depth. Then multiply the result by 140 to estimate the number of cubes. For example, a pit measuring 8 m × 4 m × 1.2 m has a volume of 38.4 m³; at 140 cubes per m³, that comes to 5,376 cubes. The number of complete pallets is estimated using the listed packing quantity of 288 cubes per pallet.
Check that the measurements describe the space to be filled, not the outside of a wall or frame. The homepage planner also recommends a minimum pit depth of 1 metre. If you are planning a different fill depth, enter that actual depth so the estimate matches your design. The calculator rounds the result up to a whole cube and shows the cube count only.

How long do foam pit cubes last?
Plan for Standard Cubes to be replenished about every 8 months, Waterbased Cubes every 12 months, and PU Skin Cubes to last at least 4 years. The cost calculator uses a conservative 4-year period for PU Skin. Actual wear depends on the operating pattern of the venue; discuss your project with proSporta if you need a more specific plan. The order draft records the construction, colour and number of cubes you are considering.
Standard Cubes are described as a practical option for parks that can replenish their pit fill more frequently. Waterbased Cubes use a water-based adhesive to reinforce the cube and improve tear resistance. PU Skin Cubes have a PU skin and are estimated to last 4 years or more. The comparison uses exactly 4 years for PU Skin so the estimate stays conservative. These figures are intended to help compare the range, not replace product data sheets or project-specific advice.
We do not offer a product guarantee, because wear depends on factors such as the number of jumpers and how the cubes are handled. Cubes can also be damaged if visitors bite into them. Under normal wear and tear, PU Skin Cubes hold up very well.
Colours for pit foam cubes
PU Skin cubes are available in the basic and neon colour ranges shown on the site. Standard and Waterbased cubes are available in grey only. Choose a colour for each PU Skin line, and use the product notes to describe any colour combination you want. If your pit uses a mix of cube types or colours, add separate lines to the order draft and leave a note explaining how you want the fill divided. This keeps the request readable for your team and for the proSporta quotation process.
The calculator uses the inside dimensions and 140 cubes per m³, then shows the estimated cube count. Apply that number to the selected cube quantity and add it to the order draft. The draft keeps the cube total and its approximate cubic metres together if you continue to another product page and add balls or grip socks later.
Packing, pallets and delivery
The listed planning quantity is 288 cubes per pallet. Divide the cube count by 288 and round up to estimate the minimum number of pallets needed. For example, 5,376 cubes correspond to 18.67 pallet quantities, so the estimate rounds to 19. This is a planning calculation; final packing and freight are confirmed in the quotation using your delivery address.
